Reservation Confirmations, Deposit and Guarantee Policy
Reservations can be booked online or by contacting our Reservations Department at 800-342-0212 and must be confirmed and guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking. A deposit of one night's room and tax is required and is charged to the credit card at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable up until 14 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations and Charges
There is a 14 day cancellation policy. In order to avoid being assessed a fee of one night's room and tax, you must cancel your reservations at least 14 days prior to your arrival date and receive a cancellation number. Failure to check-in on your scheduled arrival day will result in a penalty of one night's room and tax. The cancellation policy is subject to change during holidays and special events.
Early Departure Fee
You may revise your departure date until check-in; early departure after registration will be assessed at the full nightly room rate plus applicable taxes for all nights your stay is reduced after check in.
Check- In / Check-Out Times
Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00am. We can not guarantee early check-in; however, you may request an early check-in. Please let our Reservations Department know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Pet Policy
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is a pet free facility. Please contact our Reservations Department at 800-342-0212 for a list of local animal boarding facilities.
Facilities for Guests with Disabilities
The Resort has two guest rooms that are fully ADA-compliant: an oceanfront room with king bed in the Oceanfront Building; and a partial-ocean view room with king bed in the Oleander Building. We also have several rooms and Beach Villas at the Resort that are ADA-accessible and which include bathroom hand rails.

The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is an oceanfront Resort on Georgia’s coast offering oceanfront rooms, partial ocean view rooms, resort view rooms, two- and three-bedroom Beach Villas and private Guest Houses. The 70 year-old Resort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a proud member of Historic Hotels of America. The King and Prince is located on St. Simons Island, Georgia, 60 miles north of Jacksonville, FL and 65 miles south of Savannah, GA. Resort amenities include beautiful beaches, oceanfront dining, indoor and outdoor pools, seaside sun decks, award-winning golf at its’ Hampton Club course, clay surface tennis courts, meeting and conference facilities, and beautiful venues for weddings and special events.
Special Services
The Resort’s Concierge Services can assist with transportation, dining, entertainment and local attraction information. We also offer a complimentary Business Center with computers and Wi-Fi access. Our dedicated, professional event staff is available for planning business conferences, meetings, weddings and special events within the Resort’s 10,000 sq. ft. of premier, ocean-side function space.
