Not only will you see the many creatures that the crew brings up from the depth, but also touch whatever is caught that day; sharks, crabs, fish, and all sorts of sea life. Both half or full day private fishing charters are available fully U.S. Coast Guard Certified, sun-covered, and equipped with onboard restroom facilities.
- Kayak Tours - Join the experienced local guides at Southeast Adventure Outfitters as you discover the many rivers, creeks and marshes kayaking St. Simons and Sea Islands and the Brunswick area. They teach the skills needed to safely enjoy the sport as you watch the abundant wildlife in the marshes, rivers and on the beaches. Tours include 2-hour trips through the Marshes of Glynn, a 3-hour trip around St. Simons, and full day trips on the Altamaha and Satilla Rivers. - Lighthouse Trolley
The Lighthouse Trolley is a unique way to travel around the island. It offers historical tours or provides a hop-n-go service to elimate the hassles of finding parking at the beaches, shops, or restaurants. Rates are $5 round trip or $10 all day. The historic tours visit the lighthouse, Fort Frederica, Christ Church and the Bloody Marsh. Rates are $20 for adults, $10 for teens, and ages 12 and under free. - Beachcomber Buggies- You don't have to be a world leader to travel like one! Leaders including US President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair traveled in these clean, quiet GEM cars while attending the 2004 G-8 Summit on Sea Island. See the sites at your own, leisurely pace in your rented scooter or 4 or 6-seater GEM. Drivers must be at least 21 years of age, other restrictions apply; Rates vary according to length of rental time.
- Georgia Sea Turtle Center, Jekyll Island, Georgia - Visitors to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center explore interactive exhibits on sea turtle biology, conservation, rehabilitation, and the sea turtle's amazing journey from egg to adulthood. Daily programs highlight many different aspects of turtle care as well as sea turtle biology and life history. A large viewing window into the treatment area and an elevated walkway into the rehabilitation pavilion allow visitors to watch veterinary care of injured and ill turtles and learn more about the patients. Admission fee varies with age; Hours as follows: December - February: Tues. - Sun. 9 am to 5 pm, closed Mondays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & New Years Day; March - November: Tues. - Sun. 9 am to 5 pm, Mondays and Thanksgiving Day 10 am to 2 pm.

- Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge - The Great Okefenokee Swamp, one of America’s most fascinating natural areas, is the largest Swamp in North America. "Okefenokee," what Seminoles called "Land of Trembling Earth," is approximately 700 square miles and is located just a short ride from the Resort.
- Bike Trails - A paved network of winding bike paths (ideal for walking and jogging, too) is a great way to get to most anywhere on St. Simons Island. Bike rentals are available at Ocean Motion Surf Shop (just around the corner from the Resort) and elsewhere on the island. Infant seats and Trail-a-bikes available as well.
