Golf at the Resort’s award-winning King and Prince Golf Course (Course map). The celebrated character of this award-winning course is the extraordinary beauty that unfolds in harmony with the challenges of one of coastal Georgia's great courses. The King and Prince golf course is located on the quiet northern end of St. Simons Island, approximately 12 miles from The King and Prince Resort.
Mr. Pride Evans offers private and group lessons on the resort's har-tru tennis courts. Pride is a seasoned tennis professional with over 25 years of teaching and instructional experience. The resort offers guests to The King and Prince an on-site complimentary fitness facility. The fitness facility is equipped with three Treadmills, two Ellipticals, exercise balls, and free weights. A paved network of winding bike paths is a great way to get to most anywhere on St. Simons Island. These paths are also designed for walking and jogging. Mallery Park is located on Mallery Street just north of Pier Village on St. Simons Island. Kings Park, on the east side of Mallery Street, is an extension of Mallery Park. Combined, these parks offer a basketball court, shuffle boards, tennis courts, Butler Fields (three baseball/softball fields), a playground, concession building with restrooms, two grills and many picnic tables. These parks, shaded by mossy oaks, are also host to many antique and craft fairs conveniently located a short walk from Pier Village.
Tour the maritime forest on the south end of beautiful Jekyll Island while guiding along on an eco-friendly Segway® Personal Transporter (PT). To take part in the Jekyll Island Fun Tours on Segway® PTs, please contact the tour guide in advance to learn of availability and tour times. There's plenty to do for the entire family at Neptune Park. Cool off in the Fun Zone Pool, which is open daily throughout the summer until September 18th. For the young ones, there is a playground free of charge. The oceanfront park features picnic tables under stately oak trees, benches for relaxing by the sea, a fishing pier, and a bandstand where events are held throughout the year. The park design has a variety of elements that are challenging for intermediate skaters, but easy enough to help novice skaters develop their skateboarding skills. The park includes two 3-foot quarter pipes, two 5-foot quarter pipes, two 2-foot bank ramps with flat decks and round grind rail, one square grind rail, one manual pad, one skate bench, and two 3-foot half pipes. The park is located at 1219 Demere Road, near the intersection of Demere and Arnold Roads, on St. Simons Island. The park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
The Resort may arrange lessons for guests at a local private shooting school. The school specializes in skeet, trap, and five-stand sporting clays. A ten-station sporting clays course is available.
The Resort may arrange trail rides for guests at a local private equestrian center. The center offers beach rides, natural history rides, and wooded trail rides
