Villas (Both Oceanfront and Pool View)

Candace S, via TripAdvisor, says:
Great wedding venue. We recently spent a long weekend at the King and Prince to attend a wedding. My daughter was married at the resort four years ago, and they have been through a major renovation since then. The lobby of the resort was totally redone... The bar and new restaurant are both nice. It's a very nice place to stay, and the front desk and maids are very, very nice. The pools have been enlarged and are fun for the kids. We stayed in the Villas...they are very nice and are comfortable. The Villas also have their own pool, which does not get a crowded as the main pool. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the food is great. I recommend trying them!

This was a very last minute, one night stay but everything was perfect. The suite we stayed in was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the beach. The room was listed as partial ocean view but there was nothing partial about it. Master bedroom faced the beach so it was a great wake up! Will be back for sure! more traffic during high seasons, but either way, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I took my family and stayed at King and Prince as a part of a bigger trip. We stayed at one of the three bedroom villas. Our three days there were the best part of our trip- the villa was the perfect choice for our family, it gave us space and a homey feel with its separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room and common dining area. The grounds and beach view were beautiful, and the overall ambience of St Simon's island just lent the perfect backdrop for this beautiful facility. What a treasure.

Very clean suite, well kept grounds, good food, lovely beach and friendly and warm personnel. Thank you :-)

We stayed at the King and Prince while visiting family on the island. We were in the villas and were very pleased with our unit. We were on the second floor on the end of the units with a great view of the beach and ocean and the unit was very quiet. It was perfect for our family with lots of room in the common areas of the unit and space for each to have their own quiet area. The unit was well furnished and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The housekeeping was excellent. All the pools and beach area were easily accessible, clean and enjoyable. The location was great and accessible to many great places for walking or driving. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed a week and the facilities, amenities and service were awesome. The 3BR oceanfront villa was immaculate and the fitness room, business center and beach services were fabulous. Very family friendly! Two families traveling together would do well to book a 3-bedroom villa. Great value. Most four beds among the three rooms so parents get a room each and kids can share.

We stayed in one of the condo style homes, not main hotel. So clean, so comfortable, so quiet, so luxurious and relaxing. Great location; just a short walk (basically across the street) to beach. The surf shop around corner rents bikes, which were our preferred method to go downtown for shopping and eating as parking fills quickly. Will return to relax again!

We visited for a family vacation with 6 adults and 2 children (1 toddler and 1 newborn). We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa. The set up was perfect for a family and allowed the kids to sleep while the adults were in the living room. It was a very spacious villa with all the comforts of home. The service was excellent and the hotel staff even brought us a highchair from the restaurant to use during our stay so the toddler could eat in the room. We ate breakfast in the villa most days and the kitchen was well equipped to cook a few meals. The outdoor pool area is beautiful. The 3 pools allow for plenty of space and there were ample chairs and umbrellas. The pools and pool deck areas were very clean and the lounge chairs appeared brand new, very comfortable. The location of the resort is great. A very short drive to the Village for lots of shops and restaurants, but the beach is very private and quiet. A short drive in the other direction allows easy access to a grocery store, drug store, and other restaurants. We will definitely plan to return to King & Prince next year!

We are just now getting ready to check out after spending seven nights in a villa here at the K & P. We really enjoyed our stay -- it was exactly what we were looking for. There were 3 different generations of adults staying here, and we all found it to be just perfect. The unit had a partial ocean view, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge living/dining room, and very large kitchen, washer/dryer, a small patio overlooking the water, etc., etc. Our exhange student enjoyed the free wi-fi...

We traveled to the island flying into JAX airport and driving 65 miles north to St. Simons. The drive was straightforward and smooth. We went with a group of friends and each of us had a different room/villa within the resort. We rented a two bedroom Villa which was a decent size with two separate bedrooms, bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. The view was gorgeous and the place worked out great for our family. The resort has gorgeous pools for the family. As for the area...Amazing, quaint and lots of different shops and restaurants to choose from. We loved the pier village, walking the shops and stopping at the little coffee house that reminds me of something I would read in a novel.

My husband and I just returned from our second vacation to King & Prince. On our first stay, I was 8 months pregnant and thoroughly enjoyed the resort and entire experience and knew that we would be returning. This time, we had our first "family" vacation as our now 10 month old daughter joined us. Our initial reservation was for a beachfront room, however we upgraded to a 2 bedroom beach view villa just a few days prior to arriving and strongly believe that this was a great decision that was well worth every additional dollar. The villa afforded us the opportunity to provide our daughter with a quiet environment while she was napping and at bedtime. In addition, the fully supplied kitchen was a great convienence as we could prepare our own meals at our leisure. Though the newly renovated pool area at the main building is exceptional, the individual pool and hot tub for the Villa building is another added convienence. It is with no hesitation that I highly recommend King & Prince. Without a doubt, we will be vacationing at K & P each year and are already looking forward to our next visit.

We are frequent visitors to the King and Prince and recently brought the entire family for a stay in a Villa. The private Villa pool was just a couple of steps from our back door. We went to sleep each night with the sound of the ocean waves breaking on the beach. The Villas easily accommodated our family with all the amenities right there in the Resort.

Tara, from TripAdvisor says:

We took my parents, young nephew, and our two small kids down to King and Prince for an extended weekend over spring break. We were blessed by extremely warm weather (near 90) for early April.
The King and Prince property is beautiful, well landscaped and right on the ocean. There is plenty of parking and the staff is welcoming when you check in.
We stayed in a 3-bedroom oceanfront condo in the North Villas. Two rooms had king beds and the third had two twins. Each room had a private bathroom, which was nice. The two king rooms had oceanfront balconies and my favorite part of the trip was opening the balcony door and sleeping to the sound of the ocean. Housekeeping came every day, just like a hotel, and they did a good job and were friendly.
Our main activity with the kiddos was enjoying the resorts pools. There was a small one with a hot tub by our villa and two large ones and a kiddy pool (along with an indoor pool) at the main building. I loved the poolside bar and the ease of ordering lunch for the kids right by the pool.
My husband and father played the resort's golf course (now called Hampton?), which is not attached to the property but on the other side of the island (shuttle available) and really enjoyed it.
The location of the resort was nice, about a mile and a half from the village lighthouse, with two or three restaurants right off the resort property.

Jen, from TripAdvisor says:
My husband, daughter, mother-in-law, and I spent a weekend in a two bedroom villa in the North Villas section of the King and Prince. The room was as advertised and was very comfortable (everything from beds to living room furniture). We were in an oceanfront third floor room and had an excellent view of the ocean - we slept with the sliding glass doors open and listened to the waves crash at night. Service was excellent.

Dee K, from TripAdvisor says:
We had a 2 bed/2bath villa. We loved it. We saw the sun rise and walked on the beach. We saw dolphin off the beach while we ate our lunch. Good food. I am planning on having a ladies lunch there next month. We are planning on going back. Only an hour and a half from Jacksonville, FL. Great getaway for a little drive. About a mile away from the hotel are cute shops to go to. We rented bikes and rode to the shops. One of the store owners brought our purchases back to the hotel for us.

Ahad M, from TripAdvisor says:
We stayed during the weekend before Thanksgiving. The price was great for a two bedroom, two full bathroom suite with an ocean view. There was a full sized kitchen and large living room that would come in handy for a longer stay or for a big group of people. The tennis courts were a plus.

Mandy, from TripAdvisor says:
We spent 5 nights in a 2 bedroom North Villa. We found the condo to be very accommodating to our family. It had all the basic essentials of home. St. Simons is a lovely location and this resort was found by us to be the best place to experience it. There are numerous pools for you to use.

Falling in love with the Georgia islands is easy, but finding a place to stay that doesn't break the bank is another thing! The King & Prince with its villas and guest cottages is probably the nest kept secret around. I had the great fortune of staying in one because our family was invited to the area for a wedding. We needed three hotel rooms. Instead of providing us with that, the specialist at the desk recommended a villa. We had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining area, full kitchen, terrace with a lawn and ocean view and a fenced pool with a separate 6 person spa outside our door with barbeque grills for our convenience! Our stay couldn't have been more relaxing! Being able to stock up from the farmers market, grill, have Tea and breakfast at our leisure was well worth the price of admission. I heartily recommend it, especially if you are traveling with children.

Our rooms were very clean. Balcony, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bath and closet areas were large and roomy. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Lovely view of the beach. Service staff was friendly. Free wi-fi, too.

My family and I live in Brunswick, Georgia, which is only about 15 minutes from St. Simons Island and the King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort. As a surprise for my husband's birthday, I booked a 2-bedroom villa at the K&P for the weekend. It was amazing! Even though we weren't far from home, it felt like we were a million miles away! From the moment we checked in until the time we left on Sunday afternoon, everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. The pools sparkled, and the lawns were immaculate. We loved that our villa had covered parking and a private pool. The size of our villa exceeded my expectations. We had friends over after dinner, and even with the adult chatter going on in the living area, my son was still able to go to sleep in the 2nd bedroom. The villa was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. And, of course, nothing beats sitting out on the balcony listening to the sound of the ocean...which, by the way, is only a few steps away!
A favorite for my family... once we parked the car, we didn't use it again until it was time to leave! We ate lunch by the pool (it was very good and the service was quick), and we walked to dinner. There are several great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
We had a great weekend at the K&P! We're already talking about when we might visit again...and so are our friends!

We spent the weekend in one of your villa's and my kids woke up this morning saying they wish we were still at The King and Prince and I had to agree, lol. We all hated to leave yesterday. We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you!! P.S. our accommodations were amazing.

"Exceeded my expectations" because: The Villa we stayed in was very clean, with a lot space for our two families, great view (with the partial view), the swimming pool for the grandkids was great, being so close to the ocean was a huge "plus", the personnel at the front desk was accommodating to us, also they were very pleasant. We loved the kitchen with all the day-to-day appliances available!

The location was great.  We enjoyed being near the beach and pool.  The villa was very spacious.  I especially liked being able to wash and dry our towels in the room.  I also liked that it was gated and secure.

Our villa was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the view was wonderful! Very clean. The grounds were beautiful & well kept. I have always wanted to stay @ the King & Prince. This was my first time there and I was very impressed. I have recommended this resort to all of my friends.

I really thought it was going to be like any other hotel.  The villa is very nice and felt like home.  I was really impressed with the size of the rooms, the living room area and the kitchen with washer and dryer.  We will definitely be staying here again.

My experience at The King & Prince was excellent. I traveled with 3 of my female friends for a girls' weekend, and this hotel couldn't have been more perfect. Not only were we close to restaurants and shopping on the island, we were also situated right on the beach with 2 pools to enjoy along with all the other great amenities of the hotel. We had a 2 BR Villa that was beautiful, and very efficient. We had a full kitchen, 2 king BR's, 2 spacious bathrooms, 2 balconies with beautiful views, and a large living area with fireplace. The hotel staff was, as always when I stay, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Whether you're looking for a hotel room for 1 or 2, or a condo for a group you're traveling with, you just cannot go wrong at The King & Prince!! Enjoy!!
