Can we bring our own food into the resort for our event?
No, The King and Prince must provide all food and beverage for your event, due to liability reasons. However, you may bring in your own wedding cake. You can view our banquet menu here.

Can I throw flower petals for my ceremony on the lawn?
Yes, real flower petals are allowed, but artificial ones are not.

Can I use sparklers for my exit?
No, due to safety precautions, but glow batons, birdseed and bubbles are allowed.

How do I get a marriage license in Georgia?
Marriage licenses are obtained by applying at the Glynn County Probate Court.

Can I get married on the beach?
Yes; however, it is up to you to plan according to tides, seating, ceremony details, etc. The King and Prince does not handle beach ceremonies.

When do we make a rain call for our outdoor event?
We must have a decision 4 hours prior to the event for set up.

Do you require a wedding coordinator?
Yes, you may bring your own professional coordinator or we can arrange a Day-Of Coordinator for $750.

What is your payment policy?
We require the Room Rental Fee with the signed contract, followed by 50% of the estimated total 60 days prior. The final balance is due 8 days prior to the event.

What does your Room Rental Fee include?
Staff for set up and break down, tables, chairs, house linens, china, glass, and flatware for event.

Do you have a list of recommended vendors?
Yes, we provide a list of vendors that we recommend as they are familiar with our property. However, you may bring your own vendors if you prefer – photographer, cake baker, hair/make up, florist, etc. For details, contact
