Pools

The pool area is really top notch. There has been a recent renovation and it looks great. There are plenty of umbrellas, lounge chairs, and chairs both pool side and on the deck overlooking the ocean.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The renovation on the central pool area is beautiful. It is the only resort on the island with both a pool and a beach right out your door.

There is a wonderful pool area which includes a separate sand area for laying out and/or for kids to play. There is a separate, shallow pool with grotto, waterfall, and bridge which kids love. The staff is attentive and helpful. I'm always sad to leave. What a beautiful place!

We were pleasantly surprised with our weekend experience!! We would definitely recommend K&P!! Our room was clean, comfortable, bright, newly decorated. We could walk out our sliding glass door right to the beautiful pool area which had numerous lounge chairs available plus towels for pool/beach. Poolside food service was convenient and tasty. Room service personnel were prompt and courteous. Suggestion: Inform guests where refrigerator is located in room - it is a bit "hidden"...

We loved the hotel.  It was beautifully maintained and had a gorgeous setting.  It had one of the nicest indoor pools we have ever seen due to its warmth.  We also had a fantastic waitress in the restaurant who accurately took our whole order by memory and was very friendly.  I would love to see the indoor pool hours extended, if possible.  Thanks for the great experience.

My most recent trip to the K&P was another great stay - I have been traveling to this Georgia institution since the mid-60's as a small child with my family, and it has consistently held up its' standards of excellence. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and attentive, the rooms extremely comfortable, and the setting lovely. One of my favorite activities is just lounging by the pool and enjoying the garden with a little libation from the bar.

I now have a treasured memory that I will always be able to share with my children and my new husband. After being told that we had to make up 3 of our snow days at school...all hopes of a winter break vacation with the family was out of the question. Then at the last minute my husband and I searched "indoor pools" and... we found The King and Prince Resort. We called and the staff was more than helpful in booking a room for the very next day. Upon arriving the staff continued to provide friendly service and hospitality. That was just the beginning - the indoor pool won over the kids while the beautiful facility, superb staff, friendly community, delicious breakfast buffet and grounds won me and my husband over. We are already planning our next visit to St. Simon's Island and can't think of anywhere else we would want to stay with our family and create more treasured memories.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was clean and faced the ocean/pool. I heard other reviewers complain about the noise but I found it to be very quiet. This is one of the very few hotels on the island with the beach steps away. The buffet breakfast was worth the price and the staff was very attentive. I really liked the sand pit area on the side of the pool area. You could put a beach chair and have the convenience of the pool, but yet feel like you are on the beach. It is also a short bike or car ride to the village/pier where there was nice shopping and restaurants.
