This spin off of the White Russian is proudly named after it's creator & bartender at ECHO, Chad. Using coffee infused Dixie Vodka, this delicious drink won the Inaugural Coastal Stir Cocktail Challenge at The St Simons Island Food + Spirits Festival. It's smooth blend of coffee and vodka is sure to keep you warm during the Winter!
The Chad Ingredients
• 1oz. Dixie Vodka (infused with coffee beans)
• 1oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
• 1oz. Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
• 1oz. Milk
• 1oz. Lighthouse Coffee*
• Raspberries (for puree on rim)
*Chad recommends putting your coffee in an ice bath right after brewing so it will be easier to chill your drink.
In a container large enough, add 12 coffee beans for every 4 oz. of vodka. Set the container in a dark place for at least 2** hours. Before making your cocktail, use a coffee filter to strain any sediment from the vodka.
**Infusing for 2 hours will change the flavor, infusing for 8 hours will change the color. Chad's tip is to prep your vodka the morning you want to get mixing so that it will be ready when you are.
Add all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Enjoy!
